Hunt Pheasant, Quail and Chukar Partridge

We've stretched out the hunting season at Doc's!  You can hunt here from Sept. 1st through March 31st. Plus, there's no bag limit - you can shoot as many as you wish. 

We make sure there's nothing tricky about hunting at Doc's - each hunt is one flat fee and there are no add-on fees for birds shot.

Choose from 5 fields on our 450 acres of private hunting ground made of rolling prairie grass professionally managed to provide the perfect upland bird hunting habitat.

You can use your own dogs or we will supply them for you.  Our guides will lead you through the terrain toward your successful hunt!

Corporate Hunts

We specialize in corporate entertaining.  Allow us to set up a special hunt for your customers, employees or friends.   Shoot sporting clays at our exclusive course in the morning,  host a competitive pheasant hunt in the afternoon, and cook steaks and sleep in our private lodge at night.   We can arrange a complete package for you.

Hunting

Member Hunt:  $90 per hunter/half day.
(Price includes 5 pheasants, 10 quail, or 6 chukar partridge.)

Extra Birds:  $16-pheasant,  $15-chukar,  $8-quail.

Non-member Hunts:  $150 per hunter/half day or $275 per hunter/full day (Deposit by credit card required when booking).
(Price includes 5 pheasants, 10 quail, or 6 chukar partridge.)

Professional Guide and Dog Service:  $85 per half day per group.

Bird Cleaning:  $2.50 pheasant - $2 chukar - $1.50 quail.

Preserve Permits:  $20 per hunter.  Good for one year at any Iowa licensed Hunting Preserve.  Available to in-state or out-of-state hunters.
